Conclusion: Among patients receiving statin medication and having elevated triglyceride levels, baseline Lp(a) concentration was predictive of MACE. Crucially, MACE was consistently decreased by IPE across a range of Lp(a) values, including those in patients with elevations that were clinically significant.
